This website contains information on local sports clubs on the Get Active, Play Sport pages. The local authority for your area has information on their leisure centres, swimming pools, sports centres, parks and outdoor sports facilities. In addition, Nottinghamshire County Council manage the Country parks at Rufford, Sherwood Forest and Bestwood. Links to your local authority websites are contained on the Links page of this website.
There are some excellent training programmes and information on the Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running website. If you would like to improve your running, or are interested in trying a marathon / half marathon for the first time, this is a great place to start looking.
